Vidhi Parivartan is a legal platform that seeks to hone the skill-sets of all the budding lawyers, aid the law students in all possible manner by optimum utilization of resources available at their disposal and thereby empower the legal fraternity eventually. The platform aspires to undertake host of short, medium and long-term activities and programmes for the legal community to enhance their professional, academic, extra-academic progression.

ABOUT THE CERTIFICATE COURSE
Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) has played a crucial role in the development of the socio-economic success of the country, over the past years. They have been under various modifications from time to time. There are enormous emerging trends under IPR in today’s world. Copyright, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets are few of them, and their knowledge is imperative, in order to compliment a person’s ability to Innovate. After all, Innovation comes with challenges and IPR helps in managing those challenges in an efficient manner.
This Certificate Course aims to establish awareness related to IPR, to promote Innovation which is protected and Inventions which are valuable and in consonance with the emerging trends in the society. A broad overview of major laws governing intellectual property protection (patent, trademark, copyright, design and confidential information) in India and recent trends pertaining to the same will be covered. Along with it, the procedural aspects of registration procedure (national and international) will be highlighted and taught by the faculty.

Ms Shilpa Rathod is rendering the services in the capacity of Assistant Professor in Dr. Ambedkar College Deeksha Bhoomi Nagpur since 2013. She has total 8 years of Academic
experience in teaching. She has completed LLM in Intellectual property Laws form Symbiosis Law school Pune and LLB from Dr. Ambedkar College Deeksha Bhoomi Nagpur.
She stood first in the LLM merit list of Symbiosis University and 5th in the LLB merit list of RTMNU Nagpur. She has completed 4 certification courses offered by World intellectual Property Organization. She is currently Pursuing PHD In IPR from Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur. She is having a good expertise in filing the Trademarks, Copy rights and Patents Globally. She was Associated with Lex Nagia and Legal Force IP firms in Nagpur. She has published more than 10 Research Paper in national and International Journals and presented more than 10 Research Papers at various National and International Conferences, symposium and seminars.
She has Published one Chapter on “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar-an Educational Philosopher” in the
Book on “DR. Babasaheb Ambedkar: The Man and his Philosophy”. She is proud recipient of 1st Runner up Award for best Research Presentation on the topic “Cases on Trademark Infringement” in Seminar on “Intellectual Property Rights & Exposition on innovations and Technologies 2018” Organized by RGNIIPM in association with Confederation of Indian Industry on 26 April 2018. She is member of Legal Aid Clinic, Internal Complaint Committee, Criminal law club of Dr. Ambedkar College Deeksha Bhoomi Nagpur. She serves as a paper setter, examiner and Valuer in RTMNU Nagpur.
