Public Interest Litigation is directly filed by an individual or group of people before the Supreme Court or High Court for the enforcement of public interest, wherein certain legal rights or liabilities are affected. The person filing a PIL should not have any personal interest involved in it and should come up with clean hands so as to secure justice to the common people.
The goal of this program is to ensure that talented students receive the required mentoring that will maximize their potential and launch their careers. We will provide you hands on experience and training in the form of live classes and presentations, which will help you improve your social and communication skills. These presentations cover a variety of topics including networking and relationship building, interviewing skills, professionalism, team building and goal setting. The program will cover personality development sessions for the participants and will give them a huge practical exposure so as to learn and grow in their respective fields.
As law students, it is our responsibility to discuss such crucial issues prevailing within the legal system and ignite the flame of consciousness amongst the masses. Thus, Vidhi Parivartan’s 1st Paper Presentation Competition is an effort to find practical solutions or suggestions to such problems which will act as an aid in the process of implementation of the pre-existing laws.
Our motivation to conduct this workshop lies in helping individuals understand the law in an effective manner, and to help them against their fear of reading and writing judgements due to the practical problems involved. The workshop shall provide you with practical exposure and help you in your pursuit to becoming a master judgment reader and writer.
The Judgment Writing Competition, 2021, organized by Vidhi Parivartan presents an exciting opportunity to law students to step into the shoes of a judge and deliver a reasoned and well articulated judgment. The participants are expected to base their judgments on a thorough and diligent appreciation of the factual matrix. The competition encourages innovative judgments that have meticulously examined and applied relevant legal concepts.
This competition is aimed at bringing the creative side of the legal fraternity to the focus, by providing them with an opportunity to review their favourite movie, while focusing on the legal aspects and perspectives that arose in the movie. We aim to spread legal information through entertainment means, by making it an enjoyable and knowledgeable exercise.
