About Vidhi Parivartan

Vidhi Parivartan is a legal platform that seeks to hone the skill sets of all the budding lawyers, aid the law students in all possible manner by optimum utilization of resources available at their disposal and thereby empower the legal fraternity eventually. The platform aspires to undertake host of short, medium and long-term activities and programmes for the legal community to enhance their professional, academic and extra-academic progression.

It is committed for the cause of empowering especially the first-generation lawyers who face innumerable hardships in the profession. Moreover, it aims to live up to its motto of ‘Nyaydaanam Shreshtam Daanam’ through every activity that it undertakes.

About The Competition

As law students and future practitioners, we bear a profound responsibility to address and bring to light the complexities that persist within the legal system and to inspire a broader understanding among society. This Research Paper Competition offers a valuable platform for those eager to contribute insights and perspectives on pressing socio-legal challenges related to Human Rights.

Our objective extends beyond merely raising awareness about these issues; we aim to initiate meaningful discussions within society to empower individuals with a deeper understanding of their legal rights and protections. Acknowledging a critical shortcoming in the system—the delay in implementation and the slow pace of justice delivery—the event also seeks to foster practical recommendations for improving the enforcement and efficiency of existing laws. By exploring tangible solutions, we hope to advance the accessibility and effectiveness of justice in law, contributing toward a more equitable and responsive legal system for all.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to all.
• All undergraduate and postgraduate students, teachers, research scholars from a recognized school, college or university are eligible to participate in this competition.
• Only one submission per author(s) will be accepted. Multiple or incomplete submissions will lead to disqualification.

Theme

The theme of this competition is “Human Rights in the 21st Century”. Participants are allowed to choose any topic of their choice in accordance with the theme.

Mode of Registration

Participants are required to fill in the google form link provided below for the purpose of registration. The screenshot of the payment for registration should be attached in the google form in order to successfully complete the registration. Once registered successfully, a confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours.

Prizes

Submission Guidelines

1. All the research papers must be submitted in English Language only.
2. All the research papers must be in word document only.
3. The length of the research paper should be between 2000-3000 words excluding citations.
4. Research papers that are plagiarized beyond 15% shall be disqualified.
5. Co-authorship is permitted up to one co-author only (Not more than 2 authors per research paper).
6. Only one submission per author(s) will be accepted. Multiple or incomplete submissions will lead to disqualification.
7. Details of the author(s) shall be provided only in the body of the email while making the submission of the research paper. Do not mention any details in the research paper.
8. A uniform style of citation must be followed throughout the research paper.
9. Formatting Details:

• Font: Times New Roman
• Title of the Research paper: 14, Bold, Underlined, Capital
• Headings: 14, Bold, Capital
• Content: 12
• Alignment: Justified
• Line Spacing: 1.5

Note: Non-adherence of the above-mentioned guidelines will lead to disqualification. In case of any discrepancy the decision of the organization would be final and binding.
