Corporate Law has developed itself into one of the most dynamic and exciting areas of legal practice, and many aspiring solicitors have made an aim of making a successful career in this area. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) includes the major play of the corporate law, with the corporate lawyer playing an important part in resolving the legal issues and advising the parties.

But how does a person reach this level? What are the skills required from a corporate lawyer? How can a person specialise in this area? These are some of the many questions that we unfortunately, juggle with throughout the journey. This webinar aims to address all such queries, and provide a practical plan to everyone, who wants to make a successful corporate career.

Mr. Nitin Potdar specialises in Public & Private Mergers ” Acquisitions, Cross Border Transactions and Corporate Restructuring including Asset ” Share Purchase Deals, Joint Ventures/ Foreign Collaborations, PE Deals. The Legal 500 recognizes him for being ‘The Most influential ” significant Lawyer in 2019’. He has been a part of several high-profile corporate takeover battles including, defending hostile bids, and has experience in Private Equity transactions including leveraged buyout transactions & exits, providing strategic and business-oriented advice to investee companies.
He has set up #IndiaPowerTalk – platform wherein he invites International Leaders speak on how to revive India growth story andhas authored the book titled ‘The GPS Paradigm’ for successful mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.
He is currently a Member of the Knowledge (Skill and Education) Committee of the IMC Chamber of Commerce ” Industry and a Member of the CII Western Region Start-up Committee.
